O Gato is a brand identity for a Portuguese casual canteen/restaurant targeting young indie and alternative crowds.
Pairing a handwritten wordmark with an illustrated cat mascot wearing sunglasses,
it creates a flexible logo system that works across all brand touchpoints. The color palette is an electric blue and neon green, these deliver high visual impact, while the typography balances structure with attitude: Stolzl (a geometric humanist sans-serif font) anchors the body text, and custom graffiti inspired hand lettering drives headlines and emphasis. The mascot functions as a recurring brand signature, appearing on menus, business cards, posters, merchandise and social media content, to tie the identity together with personality and consistency.
